Bulk production should begin after the buyer and supplier are looking at the same approved structure, appearance, packing method and quality checkpoints.
Start with the decision context.
A useful brief connects the packaging to the actual product and launch. Share product dimensions, quantity range, target market, target date, preferred box direction and the concern that matters most.
Review structure and product fit.
Confirm internal dimensions, insert support, opening sequence and assembly logic. For foldable structures, review both the flat state and the assembled presentation.
- Product fit and removal experience
- Panel alignment and closure behaviour
- Assembly steps and packing orientation
Make appearance choices measurable.
Material colour, texture, print, foil, embossing and other finishes should be identified on the approved sample or specification. Screen proofs can guide direction, but they do not replace physical review.
Use a machine-made sample to expose risk.
The sample should help review structure, material, finish, product fit and packing assumptions before the bulk decision. Any open point should be recorded rather than treated as silently approved.
Define QC and packing checkpoints.
Agree what will be checked, how evidence will be recorded, and which packing details protect the product and presentation. Test categories and tolerances depend on the actual project.
Approve with a visible evidence chain.
Keep the brief, proof, sample comments, approved reference and QC requirements connected. This gives sourcing, product and QA teams a clearer basis for the production decision.
